SALES CONDITIONS FOR PRIVATE AND BUSINESS CUSTOMERS OF PAKKA AG

General

All offers, services and product deliveries take place exclusively on the basis of these sales conditions. Any deviation from them requires our prior written consent. Should any individual clause in these sales conditions be declared null and void, this shall not affect any other clause or agreement.

Product guarantees and returns

We guarantee you both high-quality products and compliance with labelling standards (Fairtrade, organic, or both) for all our certified products. Should, in exceptional circumstances, a product be damaged or spoilt, we shall take back the product within 14 days and delete the product from your invoice. If we are unable to deliver the item, you will not be invoiced for it. We shall consult you before either delivering the same product at a later date or offering you an alternative product; only then will you be invoiced for this product. Pricing and billing

The prices of all our goods in Switzerland are in CHF, for European countries in EUR and exclusive of postage and packaging. For Private customers VAT is inclusive, for business customer VAT is exclusive. The order is to be paid either by credit card, by means of the enclosed bank transfer slip or by separate invoice statement. We request you to pay the invoice amount within 30 days.

Discounts (only within Switzerland and Liechtenstein)

Postage and packaging are free for orders of over 150 CHF for private customers and of over 185 CHF for business customers. Your shopping cart in our online shop will calculate the available discount automatically.

Order confirmation

We confirm all orders by email. The email confirming the acceptance of your order establishes a legally binding agreement.

Deliveries

Direct deliveries by Pakka AG are generally limited to Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. For overseas deliveries, we are obliged to bill you for postage and packing. The amount can vary according to the quantity ordered. Please contact us in advance.
We send orders by economy parcel post as a rule. You can inform us in the Online Shop if you require your order to be delivered more quickly, as a priority parcel. You can expect to receive an economy delivery within a week of your order being accepted. Your order will be delivered by post or by DPD (an international express parcel service provider). If you are absent at the time of delivery and the parcel cannot be placed in your letterbox, then you will be left a collection or re-delivery slip. You may then collect your parcel from the post office counter. DPD parcels can be delivered a second time or dropped off with the customer.

Liability

All claims for damages for delays, inability to deliver, culpa in contrahendo, and all other non-contractual liability are excluded unless the damage was caused by gross negligence or wilful actions on our part.

Customer details

Your customer details help us to tailor our product range to customer needs. From time to time, we will take the liberty of informing you by email or post of any special offers and new products, unless you specifically request us not to. We guarantee that we shall keep your personal information strictly confidential and pass on only those personal details necessary to carry out or pay for your order (e.g. to the post office for the delivery, to the collection office in case of non-payment, etc.) and for our customer database or surveys.
