About the product
This natural nut mix combines three nut varieties with a strong character: cashews from smallholder forest gardens in southern India, almonds from wild harvesting in the mountains of northern Pakistan and Brazil nuts from the Bolivian Amazon. All three varieties are carefully harvested by hand, gently processed and left in their natural state - unroasted, unsalted and additive-free.
The creamy, mild cashews harmonise with the slightly sweet flavour of the mountain almonds and the buttery, tart note of the Brazil nuts. Together, they create a varied mix with a crunchy texture and balanced, natural flavour.
The mix is rich in vegetable protein, fibre and healthy unsaturated fatty acids. Vitamin E and minerals such as magnesium, phosphorus and potassium contribute to cell protection, normal energy metabolism and a balanced diet. Brazil nuts also provide valuable selenium - a trace element that is important for the thyroid gland, immune system and cell protection.
This mix of natural nuts is great for adding to muesli, bowls or salads, or for enjoying as a snack.
Cashews (India, Kerala): From smallholder families of the Fair Trade Alliance Kerala cooperative. Grown in biodiverse forest gardens, harvested by hand and cracked and processed on site.
Almonds (Pakistan, Gilgit-Baltistan): Wild mountain almonds from uncultivated stands. Collected, cracked and sorted by smallholder families of the Mountain Fruits Association.
Brazil nuts (Bolivia, Amazonas): Wild collection by collectors from indigenous communities. Traditionally harvested, processed on site and vacuum-packed.
All products are processed directly in the country of origin.
