Pakka Foundation - our grassroots work at its origins
There are people behind every product. With the Pakka Foundation, we strengthen smallholder cooperatives and local processors in the value chains of nuts, fruit and chocolate.
Our mission
- Promoting sustainable farming practices (organic, agroforestry and regenerative systems)
- Development of local processing for more added value in the country of origin of the raw materials
- Fair market opportunities for smallholder farmers
Active in the high-risk initial phase
New projects in particular need reliable partners. The Pakka Foundation supports producers from the initial idea through to successful establishment on the market. We create framework conditions so that agricultural production, processing and marketing become sustainable in the long term.

- Kardianuts (Colombia): Model farm for cashews and circular economy
- Equiori (Colombia): Pioneer of regenerative cocoa production
- Fruandes (Colombia): Organic dried fruit for fair trade markets
- Pakka Georgia: Fairtrade hazelnuts as a new income opportunity for farmers
