Our organic Fairtrade cashews come from small farmers' cooperatives in Kerala in the south of India. The nuts grow in species-rich forest gardens, also known as agroforestry, far away from monocultures. They are harvested by hand, then carefully cracked and the skin removed - under safe conditions for the workers.
