Our organic Fairtrade cashew halves come from small farmers' cooperatives in Burkina Faso. They are harvested by hand, then carefully cracked and the skin removed - under safe conditions for the workers. As kernels always break during the cracking process, it makes sense to offer halves as well as whole cashews - because every kernel counts!
